Prof. Dr. Mohd Hasni graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1991, and later earned a Public Health Degree and PhD (Public Health) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). A registered Medical Toxicologist with the American College of Toxicology since 2014, he has completed various advanced courses in the field. He has been consulting with UKM Pakarunding Sdn. Bhd. since 2002, following his tenure as a Medical Lecturer at UKM’s Faculty of Medicine.
